Synopsis BAFTA Scotland Awards Voting Screening Stone of Destiny tells the true story of four young students who, in 1951, outwitted the British authorities in their successful attempts to take back the Stone of Scone, a beloved symbol of Scottish pride from Westminster Abbey back to its country of origin. Ian Hamilton reignited Scottish national pride in the 1950s with his daring raid to bring the Stone back to Scotland.
